Bachelor’s Degree in English Studies, Diploma of Advanced Specialized Studies in Sociology, Postgraduate Degree in Educational Policies in Local Administration. She works at the Barcelona Education Council. She is a territorial management officer for the Nou Barris district in Barcelona. She is also the project manager of the “Zona Nord Educational Transformation”, a four-year pilot project that aims to intervene in a disadvantaged educational area to improve students’ academic results and enhance their learning conditions. She has always worked in connection with municipal education policies — first through university and research, and later within public administration. She has spent many years providing training on coeducation and the prevention of gender-based violence in the educational field. For 12 years, she also coordinated the educational projects of international cooperation NGOs.
