Marcel Pagès holds a PhD in Sociology from the Autonomous University of Barcelona. He is currently a Ramón y Cajal researcher in the Department of Theory and History of Education at the University of Barcelona. He is a member of the Institute for Research in Education (IREUB), the Research Group on Contemporary Pedagogical and Social Thought (GREPPS), and a research fellow in the Globalization, Education and Social Policies research group (GEPS-UAB). His interests include educational reform, school governance, and social inequalities.
